WHAT DOES FAMILY LIFE CHURCH BELIEVE?
The Trinity
We believe that there is one God, infinitely perfect and eternally existent in three
persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Bible
We believe the entire Bible to be inspired by God, without error and the authority on
which we base our faith, conduct and doctrine.
Salvation
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to this earth as Savior of the world.
We believe Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for our sins, and salvation is
found by placing our faith in what Jesus did for us on the cross. We believe Jesus rose 
from the dead and is coming again.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit. We believe the Holy Spirit enables 
the believer to live a Godly life. We believe the Holy Spirit provides one or more spiritual
gifts to all believers, manifesting them as He wills… and these gifts of the Holy Spirit are
operative today.
Water Baptism
We believe water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and
a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Communion
We believe in the regular taking of communion as an act of remembering what the Lord
Jesus did for us on the cross.

HISTORY
Family Life Church began in 1980 in Lafayette, LA... under the direction of Francis and Babs Martin. Their
desire was to establish a non-denominational church that was led by the direction of
the Holy Spirit. Pastor Francis Martin led and grew the church until 2002, when he
turned the leadership role over to his associate pastor, Todd Menard. Pastor Todd
served as associate pastor for eleven years before stepping into the senior pastor role.
He continues to lead and grow Family Life through the vision of “Love.Grow.Reach” 
(Love God. Grow People. Reach the World.)
