Family Life School of Theology is an extension of Beacon Institute of Ministry in Columbus, Georgia.  The courses offered through Beacon are in-depth studies in Bible, Christian Development, Church Growth and related subjects. 
  
Family Life offers four classes per year.  Each video class is 10 hours and the student receives 3 hours of credit towards their diploma.  They are scheduled on Thursday and Friday nights from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
   
A student may enroll as a Credit/Graded student, which requires them to take an open book exam.  Tests are graded and recorded at Beacon University.  One may also enroll as an Observer.
