Join us as we travel to Guatemala City, Guatemala to serve a local orphanage and meet real needs within the community.

This trip is geared toward Next Gen - ages high school through 30 - who are eager to serve, grow, and make an impact.

The total cost for the trip is $1,800, which covers travel, lodging, meals, and ministry expenses.

    The opportunity to share the Gospel with people either living in poverty, other struggling circumstance, or in remote places of the world, we are being obedient to what God has told us to do, were being like Christ, it helps us to learn  and grow in being selfless, loving others more than ourselves, and shows God’s love for humanity through our actions!

Or naked and give you clothing? When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,you were doing it to me!’

    • Trips have a variety of task- City, & Village Evangelism, Construction, Children Ministry at Orphanages, giving food to the poor, human dramas/skit, going to local schools, and so much more. 

    • Planes are the primary method of transportation. once in country van, bus, or train to get us to our destination. 

    • Quick and unexpected itinerary changes often occur so participants must be flexible. 

    • Long hours of serving, Laboring hard work, loud environments, long travel day to country or continent.

    • Fast pace, lifting, carrying, and lots of walking.

    • Being served foods or wearing clothes we’re not accustomed to; however it shows respect to the local people and their culture.  

    • Once in country, unfortunately specific dietary needs will not be able to be accommodated.  

    • The mission’s trip in country usually last one week.

  • An Estimated Total is $1,800 -$2,000.

    When you attend an interest meeting, you will receive dates and amounts when funds are due. 

    A $200.00 deposit is required when application has been completed and approved. This reserves your spot. First come first serve. The deposit goes towards the trip total.

  • Yes, a passport is required.

    In Louisiana, it typically takes 6-8 weeks to get a passport through routine service, and 2-3 weeks through expedited service. The total time to get a passport includes processing and mailing time.

    What is the Cost:

    • Routine service takes about 6-8 weeks.

    • Costs $130.00 for adults and $100.00 for this under 16 years old.

    • Expedited service takes about 2-3 weeks and costs and extra $60.00 (if you’ve already applied and want to expedite you can call can1-877-487-2778)  

    What documents do I Need to Apply for a passport:

    • Fill out form DS-11 (new or renewing passport) or Fill out form DS-64 (if passport was lost or stolen and your reapplying)

    • Evidence of US citizenship. US Birth certificate Must be issued by the city, county/parish, or state, with your full name, date/place of birth, and parent(s) names, and have a raised seal.

               Naturalization Certificate or Certificate of Citizenship

    • Valid Photo ID DL, or Current undamaged passport

    • Official Approved Passport Photo. 

    • Calculate Fees: You'll pay two fees: one to the Department of State (check/money order) and an execution fee to the facility. 

    Photocopying your passport is optional. But it can certainly help when unexpected situations occur. It may happen that your passport gets lost, damaged or stolen. Having a copy of your passport will help you speed up the process of getting a replacement passport. We recommend placing a copy in your backpack or carry-on luggage.

    Remember! A copy of your passport is NOT a valid form of identification. While it can help you during administrative processes, you can only travel internationally with an original passport book.

    We recommend either a neck wallet, fanny pack, or crossbody purse (Amazon) to carry your passport, phone, credit card, etc. while traveling in airports.
